  2. New features:
    1. Attachment Generator setup is now company-specific.
    2. Introduced obsolete checks in BIS library functions to display a warning during check configuration when an obsolete function is in a mapping expression.
    3. The Edit Message feature handles scenarios where a message encounters an error: not necessarily because of a misconfiguration, but possibly because of incorrect or incomplete data. See Edit Message.
    4. Added a validation in Azure Setup to show a warning in the Filename field when a TableField references a field name that does not exist in the internal document structure.

BC 17 release notification

  1. Aligned with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central 2020 Release Wave 2, update 17.0, cloud version.
  2. Connectivity Studio for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central App is available on AppSource.
  3. New endpoints: Azure File Reader and Azure File Writer (cloud only). These endpoints support writing files to Azure File Storage. An Azure Storage Account is required. The File Reader and File Writer endpoints are not available in cloud environments because writing a file directly to a network shared folder from a cloud-based version is not supported.
