About: MAPPER Activity

In Business Integration Solutions, use the MAPPER activity to map data items from multiple sources.

Usage

Use this activity to define relationship between an internal document and an external document.

Settings

Concept

To convert data from Microsoft Dynamics BC in a different format and/or structure you can configure a mapping between documents and to import data into Microsoft Dynamics BC you must map external document on the internal document.

An internal document is an XML definition that is linked to table & fields. An external document is typically a shared representation of the information that is exchanged.

The Mapper displays the structure of the source and target objects and allows you to map the fields with few mouse clicks.

Add Namespaces: This flag is checked by default, and it controls wheather or not namespaces will be added to the root of the resulted mapped document

Empty Document Action: A new setting has been added to the mapper to control what happens when the result of the mapping contains no nodes. The setting has the following values: Continue, Cancel and Error.
