Perform Warehouse Management Activities
The activities that must be performed when handling items in a given warehouse location are determined by the manner in which the location has been configured. These activities center around the movement of items between a location's defined bins. Common activities are the picking of items to be included on shipments or consumed in production and the putting away of items that have been received from a purchase order or outputted during production. Additional bin movements that are not associated with a particular business process can also be created and processed.
