Advanced Job Card

From this page all the header information for the Advanced Job can be maintained. The ribbon provides access to the main functions:

  • Change Status

  • Job Activities
  • Change Orders

  • Budgets
  • Summary

To create an IEM Job Card

You create a job card and then create job task lines and job budget and planning lines for it. Create Jobs quickly with the help of templates see Base, Master and Invoice Templates

  1. Choose the  icon, enter Planned Jobs, Quoted Jobs or Open Jobs, and then choose the related link.
  2. Choose the Create Job action to open the Create Job wizard
    1. To Copy a Job select Yes (see 4), to create a new Job select No and continue with Next
    2. On the Next page select a template
    3. Type a description for the Job.
    4. Set the Start date for the Job or
    5. Set an End date fot the Job.
    6. Select the scheduling direction: Forward to calculate from the Start date. Backward to schedule from the End date.
    7. Select a customer for the Job.
    8. Select a person responsible (resource) for the Job.
    9. Choose Finish to create the Job from the template.
  3. Choose the New action, and then fill in the fields as necessary. Hover over a field to read a short description.
  4. To specify the job with information on other jobs, choose the Copy Job action, fill in the fields as necessary, and then choose the OK button.
