Genesis R&D Integration
ESHA's Genesis R&D software allows a company to set up ingredients, then define nutritional information for them. Once ingredients have been set up, they are assigned as components of recipes. The underlying data for a recipe's ingredients is used to determine nutritional information for the recipe itself. This information can then be printed on food labels, and also assist the company in performing nutritional analysis activities.
Food Manufacturing & Distribution allows you to integrate your Dynamics NAV and Genesis R&D databases. You can export bills of materials and their assigned components to Genesis as recipes and ingredients, then enter the necessary nutritional information in Genesis. In this way, the corresponding records in the two programs are synchronized with one another.
The following table describes a sequence of tasks, with links to the topics that describe them. These tasks are listed in the order in which they are generally performed.
