Configure Warehouse Management
When a warehouse location is initially configured, certain rules and settings will determine the warehouse processes that are required when handling items at that location. While the presence of more warehouse activities brings with it a greater level of organization, it also requires additional effort to maintain. A company should identify an appropriate balance between control and efficiency that suits its business requirements, then set up its locations accordingly.
Beyond the procedures that must be completed when configuring Dynamics NAV's standard warehouse processes, additional setup must take place if a company wishes to utilize the warehouse management features in Food Manufacturing & Distribution.
