ANY Process Demo: Purchase Receipt - Prerequisites
Execute the following setup configuration before running this demo process.
Purchase & Payables setup
Set the default value of the Qty. to Receive field at the Purchase Order Line to 0 when creating new orders and after posting.
Go to Purchasing > Setup and open the Purchase & Payables Setup page.
If the setting Default Qty. to Receive is not visible, select the show more fields option.
Change the following setup parameter to Blank:
Item tracking
To support item tracking in all pre-configured processes, modify existing item tracking codes.
WARNING: There is a chance these modifications cannot be reversed. If these instructions are not applied on a DEMO VPC, you may opt to create new codes instead of modifying them.
Go to Warehouse > Inventory > Setup > Item Tracking Codes.
Select the code LOTALL and select the edit button to open the card.
Expand the Lot No. tab and enable Lot Warehouse Tracking.
Select OK to save and close the page.
Select SNALL in the Item Tracking Codes list and select the edit button to open the card.
Expand the Serial No. tab and enable SN Warehouse Tracking.
Select OK to save and close the page.
Purchase order
In this demo script, a released purchase order is received. Create this released purchase order before using the Purchase Order Receipt pre-configured process.
Go to Purchasing > Purchase > Purchase Orders.
Create a new order by selecting the New button on the page.
Enter vendor number 30000 Coolwood Technologies. Afterwards, expand the Invoice Details fast tab.
Enter location BLUE and the expected receipt date. Afterwards, collapse the Invoice Details fast tab.
Enter the following order lines.
Select Release to release the order.
Note down the order number, you will need this during the demonstration.
