How to: Create Bin Movements

The Bin Status window displays the items that are stored in each bin for a particular location. You can use this window to direct the movement of an item from one bin to another.

To create bin movements

1. In the Search box, enter Bin Status, and then choose the related link.
2. Select the item you want to move from its current bin.
3. On the Actions tab, in the General group, choose Move. The Build Warehouse Activity window appears. ?The lines in the Build Warehouse Activity window display information about the item that was selected in the Bin Status window.
4. Fill in the bin movement information on the lines as appropriate.
5. On the Actions tab, in the General group, choose one of the following:

Choice	Result
Register Movement	Registers the movements that have been specified in the lines.
Create Put-Away	Creates a warehouse put-away based on the entries in the lines.
