How to: Manually Combine Item Lots

If multiple lots of the same item share a warehouse bin, you can instruct the program to combine them into a single item lot. This is useful if multiple lots blend together as they are stored in a bin, so that they become indistinguishable from one another.

You can instruct the program to automatically combine item lots if they are assigned to a fixed production bin.

To manually combine item lots

1. In the Search box, enter Bin Status, and then choose the related link.
2. Select a bin content line for which multiple item lots exist.
3. On the Actions tab, in the General group, choose Lots. The Combine Warehouse Lots window appears.
4. On the Actions tab, in the General group, choose Combine Lots.
