How to manually combine item lots

If several lots of the same item share a warehouse bin, you can instruct the program to combine them into a single item lot. This is useful when several lots blend together as they are stored in a bin and become indistinguishable from one another.

Notes You can instruct the program to automatically combine item lots if they are assigned to a fixed production bin.

Steps

  1. In the search box, enter Bin Status, and then choose the related link.
  2. Select a bin content line for which several item lots exist.
  3. On the Actions tab, in the General group, choose Lots. The Combine Warehouse Lots page appears.
  4. On the Actions tab, in the General group, choose Combine Lots.
