Cross-Docking Containers
With Transport and Deliveries it is possible to receive items in a Container, put the Container away in a cross-dock bin and pick the complete Container again from a Delivery Shipment. To enable this function the following settings must be made:
- The Warehouse must be set as a "Directed Put-away and Pick" warehouse.
- The "Use Cross-Docking" option must be checked and the "Cross-Dock Due Date Calc." must specify a Date Formula on the Warehouse tab of the Location Card. Finally select a "Cross-Dock Bin Code" on the Bins tab of the Location card. On the Job Card a "Cross-Dock Bin Code" can be selected as well as a "Cross-Dock Due Date Calc" date formula to override the same on the Loacation Card
