How To : Generate Maintenance Orders

Use the Create Plant Maint. Service Orders task to create Service Order for Plant Maintenance based on Maintenance Plans linked to Service Items.

Create Maintenance Plan Service Orders

1. In the Search box, type Create Plant Maint. Service Orders.
2. Select Create Plant Maint. Service Orders to open the request page.
3. Type a Starting Date and an Ending Date to specifiy the period for which the orders need to be generated.
4. In the Action field select Create Service Order or Print Only to show a preview.
5. Click OK to start the Task

When completed the task will show a confirmation message with the nr. of orders created. The Maintenance Service Orders can be found in the Order Processing section of the Servivce department.
