How to: Register products

Product registration automates the installation and activation of Business Integration Solutions.

To register products:

  1. Go to Departments > Solution Center > Product Registration.
  2. Open the Product Registration page. Make sure the customer license is activated.
  3. Run the Register All action.

This action scans the customer license for Business Integration Solutions products and adds them to the registration table.

To install products:

  1. Go to Departments > Solution Center > Product Registration.
  2. On the Product Registration page, select the line to install.
  3. Select the Install action.

This action initializes the global settings for individual products. For each product, this is a one-time action. The settings apply to all companies.

To enable products:

  1. Go to Departments > Solution Center > Product Registration.
  2. On the Product Registration page, select the line to enable.
  3. Select the Enable action.

This action enables each installed product for a company, so that you can perform company-specific setup.

To disable products:

  1. Go to Departments > Solution Center > Product Registration.
  2. On the Product Registration page, select the line to disable.
  3. Select the Disable action.

This action disables an installed product. Once disabled, you cannot use the features associated with that product.

After the Business Integration Solutions products are registered, installed, and enabled, you can use their features.
