How to: View Test Reports before Posting Accrual Journal Lines

You can print a test report before you post an accrual journal. The test report displays all the journal lines and messages about any errors or lack of information that you must correct before posting.

To print a test report before posting

1. Fill in an accrual journal.
2. On the Actions tab, in the Posting group, choose Test Report to see a test report of the accrual journal lines.

You do not need to print a test report. But if you post immediately and there are several errors to be corrected, you will receive message about them one at a time as the journal lines are checked before posting.
