How to: Use the Sales Order Guide
You can use the sales order guide to quickly enter items on a sales order.
To use the sales order guide
- In the Search box, enter Sales Orders, and then choose the related link.
- On the Home tab, in the New group, choose New.
- Fill in the No. field. You can do this in several ways, depending on how you have set up your numbering system.
- In the Sell-to Customer No. field, enter a customer number.
- On the Navigate tab, in the Order group, choose Order Guide. The Sales Order Guide window appears.
The lines in the Sales Order Guide display sales items.
- Specify any filters, if desired.
- Enter the quantity of each item that has been ordered in the Quantity to Order field.
- On the Actions tab, in the General group, choose Add Lines.
The items and their order quantities are added to the sales order lines.
