How to: Reschedule Production Activities

You can instruct the program to reschedule the production activities that have been assigned to a piece of equipment. The times at which these activities have been scheduled are automatically adjusted so that each activity directly follows the one scheduled immediately before it.

To reschedule production activities

1. In the Search box, enter Production Sequence, and then choose the related link.
2. Enter values in the Location and Date fields.

The lines in the Production Sequence window will display equipment records based on the values that have been specified in the fields.

3. Use the Expand icon to display the production activities that have been scheduled to a particular piece of equipment.
4. To rearrange the order in which a scheduled production activity will be performed, select it and on the Actions tab, in the General group, choose Move Up or Move Down. The line moves one space in the selected direction.
5. With the equipment record selected, on the Actions tab, in the General group, choose Reschedule.

The starting and ending times of the production activities that are assigned to the equipment are modified so that there is no overlap in the scheduled activities.
