How to: Manually Create a PM Work Order

You can use a preventive maintenance order to generate a work order. The information on the PM order is copied to the corresponding fields on the new work order.

To manually create a PM order

1. In the Search box, enter Assets, and then choose the related link.
2. Select the asset for which you want to create a work order.
3. On the Preventive Maintenance FastTab, select the preventive maintenance order you want to use to generate a work order, then choose Create Order.
