How to: Set Up Label Printer Selection

You can assign combinations of users, automated data capture transactions, and labels to label printers. When you print a label that meets a certain combination of values, it will print on the assigned label printer. You must have already set up the relevant label printers.

To set up label printer selection

1. In the Search box, enter Label Printer Selection, and then choose the related link.
2. On the Home tab, in the New group, choose New to add a printer selection for a specific label.
3. In the User ID field, select whether the printer selection applies to a specific user.
4. In the Label Code field, select the code of the label to print. The Label Description field is automatically populated with the label description.
5. In the Printer Code field, select from the list of label printers. The Printer Description field is automatically populated with the printer description.
6. Choose the OK button to close the page.
