How to: Set Up Label Printers

The printers that are used to print labels can be set up as codes. You can then use these codes to set up the label printing defaults for users, automated data capture transactions, and labels.

To set up label printers

1. In the Search box, enter Label Printers, and then choose the related link.
2. On the Home tab, in the New group, choose New.
3. In the Code field, enter a code to identify the label printer.
4. In the Description field, enter a brief description of the label printer.
5. Map the label printer code to a printer.

• If the printer prints labels from Dynamics, enter a network printer in the Printer Name field.
• If the printer prints Loftware labels, enter the network folder in which the Loftware printer is mapped to a network printer in the Loftware Folder field.

If you use the same printer to print labels from both Dynamics and a Loftware folder, you must set up two separate label printer codes.
