How to: Set Up Lot Aging Profiles

You can create a lot aging profile, and then assign a series of lot aging categories to that profile, along with a specified duration. These durations are applied to an item lot's production date to determine the appropriate lot aging category for that lot. You must have already set up the relevant lot aging categories.

To set up a lot aging profile

1. In the Search box, enter Lot Aging Profiles, and then choose the related link.
2. On the Home tab, in the New group, choose New.
3. Fill in a line with a code and a description for the lot aging profile.
4. On the Navigate tab, in the Profile group, choose Categories.
5. In the Lot Aging Profile Categories window, fill in the fields.
