How to: Assign Lot Specifications Manually

You can manually assign data collection data element codes to item lots as lot specifications. Values for these assigned lot specifications can also be entered. Lot specifications are used to record different types of information about an item lot. You must have already set up the relevant data collection data elements.

To assign lot specifications manually

1. In the Search box, enter Lots, and then choose the related link.
2. Open the relevant lot no. information card for the item lot that will have lot specifications.
3. On the Navigate tab, in the Lot No. group, choose Lot Specifications.
4. In the Lot Specifications window, fill in the fields.
