ANY Process Demo: Item Info - Prerequisites

Execute the following setup configuration before running this demo process.

Cross Reference

Looking up the data of an item can be done by entering the item code, or by scanning a barcode of the item stored in the item cross references.

1. Go to the menu Warehouse/Planning & Operations/Items
2. Search for item 1924-W

3. In the Item menu, click on the link Cross References or Item References. This demo uses the Item References screen.

If you don't have feature Feature Update: Write longer item transactions enabled, the process will use the Cross Reference data that can be seen from the item list page. If you have that feature enabled, the process will be using the new item reference logic that Microsoft has made available. Importan Note: This feature will be permantely added to BC starting from BC21, which means the process will only support the new item reference from that version upwards
