ANY Process Demo: Item Info - Prerequisites

Execute the following setup configuration before running this demo process.

Cross reference

Look up item data by entering the item code or by scanning a barcode stored in the item cross references.

1. Go to Warehouse > Planning & Operations > Items.

2. Search for item 1924-W.

   

3. In the Item menu, select Cross References or Item References. This demo uses the Item References page.

If you do not have the feature Feature Update: Write longer item transactions enabled, the process uses the Cross Reference data visible from the item list page. If you have that feature enabled, the process uses the new item reference logic that Microsoft has made available. Important note: This feature is permanently added to BC starting from BC21, which means the process only supports the new item reference from that version onwards.

4. Add two cross references as shown below.
