How to: Set Up Loading Docks

You must set up loading docks for a location if you want to record truck loading activities for delivery trips. Each delivery trip must have an assigned loading dock. When truck loading information is entered into an automated data capture device, it is recorded for a particular loading dock.

Delivery trip truck loading must be enabled in a location before loading docks can be set up.

To set up loading docks

1. In the Search box, enter Locations, and then choose the related link.
2. Select the location that will have loading docks.
3. On the Navigate tab, in the Location group, choose Loading Docks.
4. In the Loading Docks window, fill in a line with a code and a description for each loading dock.
