How to: Manually Assign Orders to Delivery Trips

An order that does not have a defined delivery route will not be automatically assigned to a delivery trip by the program. You can manually assign these orders to existing delivery trips.

To manually assign orders to a delivery trip

  1. In the Search box, enter Delivery Trips, and then choose the related link.

  2. Click the value in the Unassigned Documents field in the Factbox. The Delivery Trip Mgt-Unassigned window appears.

You must release a document before you can select it for assignment. Open orders will not be displayed in the Delivery Trip Mgt-Unassigned window.

  1. Select the order you want to assign to a trip.
  2. On the line, enter the Delivery Trip number in the appropriate field or use the lookup to select the correct Delivery Trip
  3. Choose the OK button.
