Delivery Trip Picks

A Delivery Trip pick follows the same functional rules as a regular warehouse pick. There is however added functionality to create multiple picks off of one Warehouse Shipment document.
The user has the possibility of creating multiple Warehouse Shipment documents for a Delivery Trip or just one. In case of just one shipment document, the field "Auto Create Del. Trip Shipment" on the Transport Management Setup page should be set to yes. This setting wil automatically create a Warehouse Shipment document linked to the Delivery Trip and the user can then manually add the source documents listed on the Delivery Trip to the Shipment document by selecting "Add to Shipment".

When a pick is created from a Warehouse Shipment, the system will look for a setting on the Warehouse Setup Page "Whse. Pick Using Pick Class". If this value is set to yes, the system will generate a pick document per Pick Class value found for the items in the Delivery Trip. See here for more information on pick classes.
