How to: Set Up Data Collection Log Groups
The log groups that are used with log data collection lines can be set up as codes. You can then assign a log group to each data collection line that is set up with a type of log, and use these codes to generate data collection activities from data collection lines that share the same log group.
To set up data collection log groups
- In the Search box, enter Data Collection Log Groups, and then choose the related link.
- On the Home tab, in the New group, choose New.
- On the new line, fill in the fields.
- Repeat the procedure for each new log group you want to set up. You can set up any number of log groups.
