How to set up data collection log groups

You can set up the log groups used with log data collection lines as codes. You can then assign a log group to each data collection line set up with a type of log, and use these codes to generate data collection activities from data collection lines that share the same log group.

Steps

1. In the search box, enter Data Collection Log Groups, and then choose the related link.
2. On the Home tab, in the New group, choose New.
3. On the new line, fill in the fields.
4. Repeat the procedure for each new log group you want to set up. You can set up any number of log groups.
