How to: Set Up Data Collection Alert Groups
The groups that data collection alerts are sent to can be set up as codes. You can then assign these codes to data collection lines. When a data collection process fulfills the criteria (such as a missed collection or recorded information that does not meet specified values) that is defined for the associated data collection line's assigned alert group, an alert is created as a record in the database and a notification is sent to the group's members.
To set up data collection alert groups
- In the Search box, enter Data Collection Alert Groups, and then choose the related link.
- On the Home tab, in the New group, choose New.
- On the new line, fill in the fields.
- Repeat the procedure for each new alert group you want to set up. You can set up any number of alert groups.
