How to manually create production containers

You can create a production container manually from the container list or the Container page:

Steps

1. On the list or the page, choose the New button in the ribbon.
2. Enter the relevant information such as Container Type, Location Code, and Bin.
3. On the newly created container, choose Assign to Order from the ribbon.
4. On the Assign Container to Order page, select the order type as Production. Then select the released production order number.
5. If the inventory setup is set to Pick Production per Line, you can select the correct production order line. If this setting is not used, the production order line number cannot be chosen.
