How to assign containers in inventory journals

When using the inventory journals, both the Whse. Phys. Invt. Journal and the Phys. Inventory Journal: you can enter container information on the lines. When calculating the inventory, the system shows the container information for each line. Items that are both loose and containerized appear on different lines, with each container shown as one line.

When the inventory is no longer on the container, you cannot delete the value in the Container License Plate field. In this case, create a new line for the same Item No. and on the Navigate tab, in the Line group, use the New Container option to create a new container for the new line.

The same applies when items are containerized and not loose, use the same method to enter the correct data into the system.
