About: SCHEDULER Activity

In Business Integration Solution, use the SCHEDULER activity to allow background pipeline processing anywhere in the pipeline, except start/end.

Usage

Use this activity if you want a message to be processed by a background session with the remaining pipeline elements.

Concept

The Scheduler allows a user specific pipeline process to be taken over by a background session, which creates the advantage of a user not having to wait around to complete certain parts of de processing of the pipeline.

Notification Management can now benefit from using Message Editor instead of OutlookWriter for performance benefits. It is recommended to use Scheduler and STMP Writer in the Pipeline.
